Learning Objectives: Upon conclusion of the DERMfoot scientific program, attendees will have an enhanced understanding of:

  • The use of dermoscopy for the evaluation of acral skin and nail pathology
  • The physiology, evaluation, and management of longitudinal melanonychia

    Daniel Guitierrez, MD

    About the Speaker: Dr. Ruben is the Director of Dermatopathology and Consultant Dermatopathologist at Palo Alto Medical Foundation and a Professor (volunteer) of Dermatology and Pathology at UCSF. Her special interests include nail unit pathology, drug eruptions, and pathology of melanocytic neoplasms, including those in the nail unit. She is a founding member of the International Nail Society and Past President of the Council for Nail Disorders. In addition, she serves on the editorial board of the JAAD. *Dr. Ruben's presentations have been pre-recorded. Dr. Ruben has no financial or conflict of interest disclosures.
