About the Speaker
Melanie Licatese, MSW
Melanie Licatese, MSW is a Psychology Professor at the State University of New York at Oswego. Prior to her employment with the University, she spent 6 years working as a Licensed Clinical Therapist primarily providing direct therapeutic services to children and adolescents in a school setting. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development, from the State University of New York at Geneseo. She then obtained her Master's Degree in Social work as well as a Certificate of Advanced Study in Childhood Trauma, from Syracuse University. Melanie been practicing as a Licensed Master of Social Work since October 2018.
