Course Overview
This one-hour talk will define the “Foot Core” and review specific exercises on improving the strength of the foot. Case examples will be provided demonstrating the benefits of strengthening the foot in practice. The presentation will end with discussion on to how to refer a patient to physical therapy for improving their foot core.

About the Speaker
Lindsay Wasserman, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Lindsay, a physical therapist graduating from Ithaca College, has been practicing for over 20 years in the outpatient orthopedic Setting. She has been working at the Spaulding National Running since 2013 with focus on running mechanics. She also has her fellowship in manual therapy and is a certified yoga teacher. Lindsay has presented nationally both at APTA Combined Sections Meeting and ACSM and some local courses in regarding the foot and ankle as well as treatments for runners. On a personal level, Lindsay is a runner herself completing several marathons and triathlons, including two Ironman.
