At the end of this presentation, the attendee will understand how to correctly bill for an E/M service when it is billed on the same date of service as a procedure
At the end of this presentation, the attendee will understand how to bill and how to document the service that was provided when the physician receives a telephone call from the patient and time needs to be spent reviewing their chart, speaking with the patient, adjusting a treatment plan, prescribing medication, or having the patient come into the office
At the end of this presentation, the attendee will understand the proper Nursing Facility E/M codes and the proper Home Services E/M codes that need to be billed when an E/M service is provided at these Places of Service
