About the Speaker:

Diana Rogers, DPM, MS, FACFAS

Dr. Rogers graduated from Florida International University with a BS in Sports Medicine. Having been a collegiate athlete herself, Dr. Rogers enjoyed practicing as an Athletic Trainer for six years, working with all levels of athletes. She continued her education, graduating from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences in 2006 and a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2008. She completed a three year surgical residency in 2011 at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. For the following six years, Dr. Rogers practiced in Hollywood, Florida and was actively involved with local residency programs, including research director at Westside Regional Medical Center. For nine years, she was an adjunct faculty at Barry University, teaching third and fourth year students, as well as participating as an exam writer for NBPME. Her passion for the podiatric profession continued as she served and held numerous elected positions with the Florida Podiatric Medical Association at the state and local levels. Her career continued as she practiced in Illinois and Wisconsin for 6 years, serving the community and state associations. Dr. Rogers is board certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and currently serves on the Board of Directors as well as the Didactic Review Group which actively writes and reviews questions for the board certification exams. She is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is an active member of the Health Policy Committee. She strongly believes in Healthcare Advocacy and serves the American Podiatric Medical Association on various committees. Dr. Rogers continues to serve her profession through community volunteer opportunities, lecturing, student, resident and fellow mentorship. When she is not participating in conferences or meetings, you can find her with her loved ones at a football game, traveling, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.

About the Speaker:

Krupa Patel, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Patel is the managing partner at a 5 doctor private practice in New Jersey. She has served on various board positions at the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society, including becoming the youngest female President of the organization in 2018. She has received numerous awards including the Podiatry Management Magazine’s Rising Star Award and the NYCPM Alumni Rising Star Award. She is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Patel has been a PICA Medical Advisory Committee Member since 2018. She also holds consulting roles with Stryker Orthopedics in their Foot & Ankle Division and their ASC Business Line. Dr. Patel is also a consultant with AthenaHealth and PatientPop. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys.

About the Speaker:

Roland Ramdass, DPM

Dr. Roland Ramdass is a practicing podiatrist at the Foot and Ankle Center, where he is part of a three-doctor group with multiple locations in Northern Virginia and West Virginia. He is ABFAS Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Rearfoot Reconstruction/Ankle Surgery. He is a graduate of City University of New York – York College, where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1995. He graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2002 with honors and completed his three-year podiatric surgical residency in 2005 at the New York Presbyterian Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. Passionate about education and promoting his specialty, Dr. Ramdass is actively involved with the INOVA Fairfax Residency Program, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners (NBPME), the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME), and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association (VPMA)—in addition to his service on the ABFAS Board of Directors. He has also served as Chairman of the Winchester Medical Center Podiatry Department and President of NBPME, VPMA, and the ACFAS Mid-Atlantic Region. Dr. Ramdass has lectured at various seminars nationwide and has moderated several foot and ankle instructional courses and labs for foot and ankle surgeons, residents, and students. He has been involved in multiple research projects, which led to publications in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

About the Speaker:

Hiro Shibuya, DPM, MS, FACFAS

Dr. Shibuya is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon/podiatric physician with more than 15 years of experience in various foot and ankle pathologies. He is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery for rearfoot reconstructive/ankle and foot surgery. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego, in molecular biology and philosophy. He received his doctorate degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Shibuya finished his surgical residency in Cleveland, OH, and earned his Master of Science degree in clinical investigation at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  He specializes in ankle pathologies, including arthritis, instability, trauma, and osteochondral lesions. While he provides comprehensive foot and ankle care, his specialty is ankle replacement, fusion, open reduction and internal fixation, osteochondral lesion repair, deformity correction, and stabilization, with or without a minimally invasive approach with arthroscopic assistance. Prior to UTRGV, he was a professor of surgery at Texas A&M University, College of Medicine, served as a chief of the Podiatry Section under Surgical Services at Central Texas VA Health Care System, where he also served as a member of the Podiatric Surgical Advisory Board (SAB) for the National Surgery Office (NPO), National Podiatry Field Advisory Committee for the Office of Patient Care Services under Veterans Health Administration, Chief Podiatry Consultant (VCPC) for VISN 17, and VA Site Director for the Baylor Scott and White Podiatric Surgery and Medicine Residency Program. He served as a Director of the Continue Medical Education Committee for the Texas Podiatric Medical Association (TPMA) and Chair of the Annual Scientific Conference Committee for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). Outside of UTRGV, he serves as a faculty for the ACFAS, TPMA, and AO North America. Dr. Shibuya is the current Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Chairperson of the Council of National Registry Management for the ACFAS.

Tim Miller, DPM

Dr. Timothy Miller is a triple board certified dedicated podiatric physician who brings a calm, attentive presence to every appointment. With years of experience treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions—from heel pain and ingrown toenails to diabetic foot care—Dr. Miller is known for making patients feel heard, respected, and cared for. His clinical interests include biomechanics, orthotic therapy, and preventative care. Dr. Miller takes a conservative-first approach and believes in educating his patients on the “why” behind their symptoms so they feel confident about their recovery. Outside of clinic hours, Dr. Miller enjoys golf, cooking, and staying active in the Central Florida community. Patients appreciate his approachable style, thoroughness, and unwavering commitment to getting them back on their feet.
