    James Whalen, DPM
    James Whelan, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon at Beloit Health System in Beloit, Wisconsin. He graduated from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and completed his residency training at Wheaton-Franciscan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His fellowship training at the Midwest Foot and Ankle Fellowship was focused on advanced foot and ankle reconstruction and deformity correction. He is board certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and has a certification of advanced qualification in amputation prevention and wound care. He currently serves as attending faculty for the Podiatry Residency Program at Katherine Shaw Bethea. He has several publications in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is an invited lecturer at regional and national conferences
