    Katie Swanstrom, DPM

    About the Speaker:

    Katie Swanstrom, DPM

    Dr. Swanstrom is in private practice as an owner of the Spokane Foot Clinic and is President of the Northwest Surgery Center. She is a mother and enjoys being outdoors in the pacific northwest. She has served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons since 2020. Dr. Swanstrom is board certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. Dr. Swanstrom serves her local medical community as the Vice Chief of Staff at Valley Hospital and is proud to be the first Podiatric Surgeon to serve in this role. She is also the Chair of the Credentialing Committee at Valley Hospital. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Fox University, cumme laude and earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, summa cumme laude. Dr. Swanstrom completed the Swedish Residency Training Program PM&S-36 in Seattle, WA in 2011.

    June Laird, JD

    JUNE BAKER LAIRD is a Partner in the Colorado office of McElroy Deutsch. She graduated in 1989 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with honors. June is a trial lawyer who defends lawyers and healthcare providers. She has practiced in Colorado since 1991, after initially practicing for a year in Oklahoma and then a year in Florida. June joined the Firm's Colorado office in 2000. She defends lawyers and healthcare providers against professional malpractice claims at trials and arbitrations, bringing dozens of cases to defense verdict for her clients. June also represents lawyers on disciplinary matters before the Office of Attorney Regulation, and healthcare providers before their licensing Boards. June is a member of the Colorado and Florida Bar Associations, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and Colorado's Federal Faculty of Advocates. She is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.

    Luke Cicchinelli, DPM

    About the Speaker:

    Luke Cicchinelli, DPM

    Dr. Cicchinelli is the Chief Medical Director for PICA. He is a 1090 graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He is a faculty member of the Podiatry Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. He practiced for 19 years in the USA between North Carolina and Arizona and over 10 years between Australia and Spain, focusing primarily on reconstructive surgery and sports medicine of the foot and ankle and teaching.
