    About the Speaker:

    Miguel Manzur, MD


    Dr. Manzur graduated in 2012 from the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where he was awarded a membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. He completed his general surgery training in 2018 and then his vascular surgery fellowship in 2020, both at the University of Southern California. He currently maintains American Board of Surgery certifications in general surgery and vascular surgery. Dr. Manzur has an interest in limb preservation and has continued to refine both his endovascular and open vascular reconstruction skills. He hopes to develop and lead limb preservation efforts in the community. Dr. Manzur’s additional clinical interests include dialysis access, complex aortic pathology, cerebrovascular disease, and venous disorders. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Western Vascular Society, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
    Katie Swanstrom, DPM

    About the Speaker:

    Katie Swanstrom, DPM

    Dr. Swanstrom recently retired from private practice. She was an owner of the Spokane Foot Clinic for 12 years and President of the Northwest Surgery Center for six years. She served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons from 2020-2024. Dr. Swanstrom is board certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/ Ankle Surgery. Dr. Swanstrom serves her local medical community as Chief of Staff at Valley Hospital and is proud to be the first Podiatric Surgeon to serve in this role. She serves on the Medical Advisory Committee of PICA. Dr. Swanstrom is Scientific Chair for AACPM’s DPM for a Day, part of the Feet on the Street Initiative to promote the profession of Podiatric Surgery. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Fox University, cumme laude and earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, summa cumme laude. Dr. Swanstrom completed the Swedish Residency Training Program PM&S-36 in Seattle, WA in 2011.
