    About the Speaker:

    Luke Cicchinelli, DPM

    Dr. Cicchinelli is the Chief Medical Director for PICA. He is a 1090 graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He is a faculty member of the Podiatry Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. He practiced for 19 years in the USA between North Carolina and Arizona and over 10 years between Australia and Spain, focusing primarily on reconstructive surgery and sports medicine of the foot and ankle and teaching.

    David Freedman, DPM

    Dr. Freedman is currently a Board member of US Foot and Ankle Specialists, the Vice-President and a Founding Partner of Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, LLC and has been practicing at the Leisure World location since 1988. He is a past President of the Maryland State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, past Chairman, 9th and 10th Annual CAC/PIAC meeting of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), is Chair of the APMA Coding Committee, and a CAC Podiatry Representative for Maryland. Dr Freedman is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in foot surgery; Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons; Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons; Certified Professional Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders; Certified Professional Medical Auditor from the American Academy of Professional Coders; and Certified Surgical Foot and Ankle Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders

    Ms. Lipkis is an attorney with Cray Huber Horstman Heil & VanAusdal LLC in Chicago, Illinois. She is passionate about the defense of medical professionals. Ms. Lipkis has extensive experience in complex medical and professional negligence cases, having defended professionals at depositions, mediations, and jury trials. She understands how the reputation of the medical professional is impacted by claims of malpractice and has helped defend the reputations of hundreds of physicians and healthcare providers..
