    About the Speaker:

    Bruce Bednar, OTF/L, CHT CWCE

    Bruce is a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Nebraska since 2001. Bruce grew up in rural central Nebraska, completed undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2001. Mr. Bednar became a Certified Hand Therapist through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission in 2007. He began completing Functional Capacity Evaluations as part of his practice in 2002, and Medical Impairment Ratings since 2008. Bruce has testified as an expert witness for multiple workman’s compensation and personal injury cases. Bruce is a therapist and partner at Lincoln Orthopedic Physical Therapy in Lincoln, NE since 2003. Mr. Bednar is trained and certified in various FCE systems used nationally and internationally, including the Blankenship (2002), Ergo Science (2004), Matheson Certified Work Capacity Evaluator (2007), XRTS 2014. He is a certified EPIC Lift examiner. Bruce and his wife, Amy, live just outside of Lincoln with their daughter and son.
