    About the Speaker:

    Erin Nelson, DPM

    Erin Nelson, DPM, FACFAS, CWSP is the founder of Foot and Ankle Specialists of Ames. She went to the University of Northern Iowa and received a degree in biology and went to Des Moines University for medical school. After completing a residency at St John North Shores in Harrison Township, Michigan she and her family returned to Iowa. She has practiced in central Iowa for the last 13 years. Dr. Nelson is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and wound care. She has a special interest in peripheral nerve entrapment and has completed further training through the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons
