You Don't Know JAK: An Introduction to Inflammatory Disorders

Objectives: 1) To be able to understand the Janus kinase and how it affects inflammatory skin disease 2) To list effective therapeutic options for the treatment of atopic dermatitis and other inflammatory skin issues. 3) To highlight the topical and oral JAK inhibitors that decrease severity and symptoms.

About the Speaker:

  • Jonathan Hale Zippin M.D., Ph.D. is an Associate Attending Dermatologist and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Weill Medical College of Cornell. Dr. Zippin attended Cornell University where he received a Bachelor's of Science with Honors. He then attended the Rockefeller/Cornell/Sloan-Kettering Tri-Institutional M.D./Ph.D. program. He completed his general medicine internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, followed by a residency in dermatology at the Weill Cornell Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital.
